Peter Clark

Peter has been a litigation lawyer for over 18 years and before founding Eureka Legal in 2008, spent almost three years with one of the state's largest plaintiff firms.

Practising law is not just about knowing the how and why of legal intricacies. In plaintiff litigation the focus is always on the client and how to deliver the best possible return to the client in the shortest possible time.

Peter works hard to earn the respect and trust of his client. He brings a compassionate approach towards clients, understanding that many of them are embarrassed by their circumstances, unfamiliar with the legal process and nervous at the prospect of disclosing their confidential personal details to a stranger. Clients are asked to make a leap of faith when they first engage a solicitor. Peter recognises and honours that commitment and prides himself on being approachable, and telling it how it is.

Peter is an AFL fanatic who follows the Hawks. He is also very much family man. He and his wife Deb have five children enrolled from Prep to Year 12 locally in Mackay.

Eddie Wood

Eddie joined Eureka Legal in September 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Q.U.T in Brisbane.

Eddie has a particular interest in Family Law and Criminal Law, and relishes opportunity to represent his clients in court.

Outside of work Eddie is a regular tennis player. He also enjoys the great outdoors whenever he gets the chance, and has done hiking trips throughout North Queensland, Tasmania, and Japan.
